International Trade - Exports up by 2.9% and imports up by 9.1%

In the last three months, exports increased by 2.9% and imports by 9.1%, comparing to the same period in the previous year (June to August 2007), leading to an increase in the deficit of the trade balance. Within the reference period, compared to the same period in 2007, imports of Fuels and lubricants rose by 56.5% and exports by 73.6%.
