Summary
Domestic Material Consumption declined in 2010, having decreased 7.8% compared to 2009 and 18.0% over 2008, the year when the series presents its maximum level. Conversely, resources productivity increased in 2009 and 2010, reversing the downwards trend observed since 2003. After a maximum of 21.7 tons per capita in 2008, in 2010 the Domestic Material Consumption decreased to 17.7 tons per capita.
