COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 27 17 Cooperação no Quadro Europeu Cooperation in the European Framework COOPERAÇÃO NO QUADRO EUROPEU | COOPERATION IN THE EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK No primeiro semestre de 2025 realizaram-se importantes atividades no quadro europeu. Registam-se, em particular, o acolhimento de uma “maratona” de ciência de dados, “Hackathon”, que visou intensificar a utilização de soluções de IA nas estatísticas oficiais, e da cerimónia de entrega de prémios da Competição Europeia de Estatística, que reforçou a ligação da comunidade estatística oficial ao meio educativo, em prol do aumento da literacia estatística. Releva-se igualmente o acolhimento de visita de trabalho do INE da Polónia sobre Contas Económicas da Agricultura Regionais, visita de trabalho multidisciplinar do INE da Sérvia (ao abrigo da cooperação destinada à capacitação dos Países Candidatos à UE), bem como o encontro com o Chief Statistician e Diretor da Direção de Estatísticas da OCDE, Steve MacFeely. In the first half of 2025, important activities were carried out in the European framework, most notably, the hosting of a data science “hackathon”, which aimed to intensify the use of AI solutions in official statistics, and the award ceremony of the European Statistics Competition, which strengthened the connection of the official statistical community to the educational environment, in favour of increasing statistical literacy. It is also worth noting the hosting of a study visit from Statistics Poland on Regional Economic Accounts for Agriculture, a multidisciplinary working visit by the Statistical Office of Serbia (SORS), under the cooperation aimed at capacity-building of EU Candidate Countries, as well as a visit from OECD’s Chief Statistician and Director of Statistics and Data, Steve MacFeely. Visita da Polónia sobre Contas Económicas da Agricultura Regionais | Visit from Poland on Regional Economic Accounts for Agriculture Entre os dias 15 e 16 de janeiro, o INE acolheu uma visita de trabalho de três especialistas da Polónia, focada na implementação das Contas Económicas da Agricultura Regionais (CEAREG). A visita foi realizada a pedido do INE polaco, que valorizou a experiência portuguesa em metodologias e procedimentos aplicáveis às suas necessidades. A ação foi conduzida por Maria José Correia, com o apoio de Margarida Mourão e Isabel Simão (do Serviço de Contas Satélite e Avaliação da Qualidade das Contas Nacionais, Departamento de Contas Nacionais). A delegação do INE polaco foi constituída por Agnieszka Grabowska, Chefe do Departamento de Agricultura e Ambiente, e por Artur Between January 15 and 16, Statistics Portugal hosted a working visit from three experts from Poland, focusing on the implementation of the Regional Economic Accounts for Agriculture (REAA). The visit was arranged at the request of Statistics Poland, which recognized the applicability of Portugal’s methodologies and procedures to their needs. The session was led by Maria José Correia, with support from Margarida Mourão and Isabel Simão (from the Satellite Accounts and Quality Assessment of National Accounts Unit, National Accounts Department). The Polish delegation comprised Agnieszka Grabowska, Head of the Agriculture and Environment Department, and experts Artur Łączyński and Zbigniew Floriańczyk from the same department.
