Comparativamente com a população empregada total, o emprego desportivo caraterizava-se por ser maioritariamente masculino, mais jovem e mais escolarizado: 66,2% dos empregados neste setor eram homens (50,8% no total da população empregada), 54,0% tinham idade dos 16 aos 34 anos (25,6% no total) e 41,9% tinham o ensino superior completo (35,1% no total). Compared to the total employed population, sports employment is characterized by employing more men and younger and more educated people: 66.2% were men (50.8% in total employment), 54.0% were aged between 16 and 34 years (25.6% in total) and 41.9% had completed the tertiary education (35.1% in total).
