COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 24 8 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries Na conclusão das missões foi destacado o bom acolhimento prestado pelas equipas timorenses, com destaque para os interlocutores setoriais (Adriano Araújo [Legislação], Afonso Martins [Geoinformação], Silvino Lopes, Lourenço Soares, Hélder Mendes e Paulina Viegas [Difusão]) e para o Presidente do INE-TL, Dr. Elias dos Santos Ferreira, cujo empenho pessoal foi determinante na realização bem-sucedida destas atividades. Estas missões foram extremamente gratificantes para os consultores, que reiteraram a sua disponibilidade para continuar a apoiar o INE-TL no desenvolvimento do sistema estatístico nacional, na sua consolidação institucional e no reforço de capacidades técnicas. At the conclusion of the missions, the warm welcome provided by the Timorese teams was highlighted, with emphasis on the sectoral focal points (Mr. Adriano Araújo [Legislation], Mr. Afonso Martins [Geoinformation], Mr. Silvino Lopes, Mr. Lourenço Soares, Mr. Hélder Mendes and Ms. Paulina Viegas [Dissemination]) and the President of NSI-TL, Mr. Elias dos Santos Ferreira, whose personal commitment was decisive in the successful implementation of these activities. These missions were extremely rewarding for the consultants, who reiterated their willingness to continue supporting NSI-TL in the development of the national statistical system, its institutional consolidation, and the strengthening of technical capacities.
