COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 24 4 Bem-vindos à nova edição da COOPSTAT! Este número refere-se ao conjunto de ações de cooperação internacional realizadas entre janeiro e dezembro de 2023. São contempladas várias ações bilaterais e multilaterais, com destaque para as atividades desenvolvidas no âmbito do Programa Estatístico da Comunidade de Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP). No contexto lusófono, a nível bilateral, destacam-se as atividades de cooperação com os parceiros do Brasil, Cabo Verde e Moçambique, nas áreas de Geoinformação, Qualidade, Contas Satélite e Índice de Preços no Consumidor. No quadro bilateral, a assistência remota foi bastante expressiva, em complemento das ações presenciais realizadas. A nível multilateral, sublinha-se a retoma plena do Programa Estatístico da CPLP, com múltiplas ações nos domínios de Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), Classificações, Difusão e Literacia, Legislação e Geoinformação. Regista-se ainda a participação do INE numa atividade multidisciplinar da CPLP na área do Turismo. No quadro europeu, releva-se a organização do Curso Introdutório da Qualidade ao abrigo do Programa Europeu de Formação Estatística (ESTP, na sigla original), bem como a visita de trabalho do INE da Albânia, ao abrigo do Instrumento de Pré-Adesão à UE. Na cooperação com os países terceiros, destaca-se a visita de trabalho do INE da Coreia do Sul, no âmbito dos seus planos de modernização. Releva-se ainda a realização futura da 11ª Conferência Europeia da Qualidade em Estatísticas Oficiais (Q2024), coorganizada com o Eurostat e prevista para junho de 2024, no Estoril (região da Grande Lisboa). Welcome to the new edition of COOPSTAT! This number refers to the set of international cooperation activities carried out between January and December 2023. Several bilateral and multilateral actions are featured in this number, with emphasis on the activities developed under the Statistical Training Programme of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP). In the Portuguese-speaking context, bilateral cooperation activities with partners from Brazil, Cabo Verde and Mozambique stand out in the areas of Geoinformation, Quality, Satellite Accounts and Consumer Price Index. In the bilateral framework, remote assistance was quite expressive, in addition to activities carried out in-person. At the multilateral level, the CPLP Statistical Training Programme was fully resumed, with multiple actions in the areas of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Classifications, Dissemination and Literacy, Legislation and Geoinformation. Statistics Portugal also took part in a multidisciplinary CPLP activity in the area of Tourism. In the European context, the organisation of the Introductory Quality Course under the European Statistical Training Programme (ESTP), as well as bilateral cooperation with INSTAT (NSI Albania) within the EU Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance, are highlighted. Regarding cooperation with third countries, the focus is on a Study visit from KOSTAT (NSI South Korea) on modernisation. Also noteworthy is the upcoming 11th European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics (Q2024), coorganised with Eurostat and scheduled for June 2024, in Estoril (Greater Lisbon region).
