No âmbito do Projeto de Classificações, Conceitos e Nomenclaturas do Programa Estatístico da CPLP, o INE de Portugal acolheu uma visita de trabalho na área de Classificações, Conceitos e Nomenclaturas destinada ao INE da Guiné-Bissau, de 16 a 20 de outubro de 2023. Esta ação serviu para reforçar a capacidade técnica do instituto guineense na elaboração das classificações necessárias para a atividade estatística e económica da Guiné-Bissau. Na visita foi prestado apoio para a conclusão da elaboração da Classificação de Profissões da Guiné-Bissau, com vista à sua aprovação e implementação a breve trecho. A visita de trabalho foi orientada pela responsável técnica do Projeto, Arminda Brites (Serviço de Infraestrutura Informacional), contando igualmente com a participação do Diretor de Serviço, António Portugal, e da perita da mesma Unidade, Cristina Brito. Do lado guineense, participaram os peritos Isabel Naluak e Carlos Bacar Janté, tendo a visita sido agraciada pela presença do Presidente do INE-GB, Roberto Vieira, cuja instituição (agora elevada a Instituto Público) tem em curso um processo de reforço institucional e modernização. As part of the Project on Classifications, Concepts and Nomenclatures of the CPLP Statistical Programme, Statistics Portugal hosted a study visit from NSI GuineaBissau in the area of Classifications, Concepts and Nomenclatures, from 16 to 20 October 2023. This action aimed to strengthen the technical capacity of the Guinean institute in the preparation of the necessary classifications for the statistical and economic activity of Guinea-Bissau. During the visit, support was provided for the conclusion of the Guinea-Bissau Classification of Occupations, with a view to its approval and implementation in the near future. The study visit was guided by the technical manager of the Project, Arminda Brites (Information Infrastructure Unit), with the participation of the Head of Unit, António Portugal, and the expert from the same Unit, Cristina Brito. On the Guinean side, experts Isabel Naluak and Carlos Bacar Janté participated, and the visit was honoured with the presence of the President of NSI-GB, Roberto Vieira, whose institution (now elevated to the status of Public Institute) is undergoing a process of institutional strengthening and modernisation.
