Na presente edição da COOPSTAT merecem destaque inúmeras iniciativas, particularmente no contexto lusófono, em que, para além de múltiplos encontros técnicos, se releva o acolhimento, pelo INE de Portugal, da IX Conferência Estatística da CPLP. A nível bilateral, no quadro lusófono, merece especial referência a visita do Conselho Diretivo do INE de Cabo Verde ao INE de Portugal. Destaca-se igualmente a Visita de uma alta dirigente do IBGE sobre planeamento e custeio censitário e os encontros técnicos nos domínios de Amostragem, Qualidade, e Dados Administrativos, com os INEs de Cabo Verde, Moçambique e São Tomé e Príncipe, realizados em modalidade virtual. A nível multilateral, está em foco, nesta edição, a IX Conferência Estatística da CPLP, subordinada à temática “O Papel dos INEs nos novos ecossistemas de dados”, que teve lugar na sede do INE de Portugal, em Lisboa, em 5 e 6 de dezembro. No contexto europeu, sublinha-se a realização do Curso Introdutório sobre Gestão da Qualidade em Organismos de Estatística, assegurado pelo INE, no âmbito do Programa Europeu de Formação Estatística (ESTP). In this edition of COOPSTAT, numerous initiatives deserve to be highlighted, particularly in the Portuguese-speaking context, in which, in addition to multiple technical meetings, special reference is due to the IX CPLP Statistical Conference, hosted by Statistics Portugal. At the bilateral level, in the Portuguese-speaking context, the visit of the Board of NSI Cabo Verde to Statistics Portugal deserves special mention. Also noteworthy are the Visit from a top manager of the Brazilian NSI (IBGE) on Census planning and financial management and the technical meetings in the areas of Sampling, Quality, and Administrative Data, with the NSIs of Cabo Verde, Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe, held in virtual mode. At the multilateral level, the focus in this edition is on the IX CPLP Statistical Conference, entitled “The Role of NSIs in the new data ecosystems”, which took place at the headquarters of Statistics Portugal, in Lisbon, on 5 and 6 December. In the European context, emphasis is laid on the Introductory Course on Quality Management in Statistical Agencies, provided by Statistics Portugal, under the European Statistical Training Programme (ESTP).
