COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 23 15 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries A reunião foi bastante profícua, possibilitando a partilha de prioridades e desafios relevantes, bem como a identificação, pelo INE-CV, de áreas a priorizar no âmbito da cooperação bilateral. Foi definido um conjunto de ações bilaterais de natureza técnica, em que o INE-PT se comprometeu a partilhar a sua experiência em matéria de amostragem e dados administrativos, incluindo o seu aproveitamento no contexto censitário. Para além das discussões técnicas e estratégicas, a visita possibilitou um convívio salutar entre os representantes de ambas as instituições. O encontro culminou com um reafirmar do compromisso dos dois institutos para com a cooperação bilateral e multilateral, nas instâncias da CPLP, visando contribuir para o reforço de ambos os sistemas estatísticos e para o desenvolvimento estatístico da Comunidade. The meeting was very fruitful, enabling the sharing of relevant priorities and challenges, as well as the identification, by NSI-CV, of areas to prioritise within the scope of bilateral cooperation. A set of bilateral actions of a technical nature was defined, in which Statistics Portugal undertook to share its experience in terms of sampling and administrative data, including its use in the census context. In addition to the technical and strategic discussions, the visit allowed for a healthy social interaction between representatives of both institutions. The meeting culminated in a reaffirmation of the two institutes’ commitment to bilateral and multilateral cooperation, within the CPLP instances, with a view to contributing to the strengthening of both statistical systems and to the statistical development of the Community.
