COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 22 6 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries Também em março, foi ministrado pelo Diretor do Serviço de Estatísticas da Agricultura, Floresta e Pescas, Carlos Carvalho, um módulo formativo de 4 dias sobre “Desenho de Inquéritos Agrícolas”, destinado a 26 funcionários do Estado angolano. Esta formação realizou-se no âmbito da primeira edição da Pós-Graduação em Modelo de Qualidade para a Produção de Estatísticas Agropecuárias, co-organizada pela FAO e pelo Governo de Angola. A capacitação neste domínio é priorizada no contexto dos esforços de modernização e melhoria estrutural do Sistema Nacional Integrado de Estatísticas Agrícolas. Estes esforços inserem-se no âmbito do desenvolvimento setor agrícola angolano, que contemplam a dimensão da tecnologia e do capital humano, bem como melhorias metodológicas. A formação foi particularmente elogiada pelos participantes, que puderam beneficiar do conhecimento técnico e experiência profissional num contexto de realização recente do Recenseamento Agrícola em Portugal (RA 2019). Also in March, Mr. Carlos Carvalho, Head of the Agriculture, Forest and Fishery Statistics Unit, gave a 4-day training module on “Agricultural Survey Design”, aimed at 26 Angolan State officials. This training took place within the scope of the first edition of the Post-Graduation in Quality Model for the Production of Agricultural Statistics, co-organised by FAO and the Government of Angola. Capacity building in this domain is prioritised in the context of efforts to modernise and structurally improve the Integrated National System on Agricultural Statistics. These efforts are part of the development of the Angolan agricultural sector, which include the dimension of technology and human capital, as well as methodological improvements. The training was particularly praised by the participants, who were able to benefit from the technical knowledge and professional experience in the context of the recent Agricultural Census in Portugal (RA 2019).
