SEPTEMBER 2022 23 MONTHLY STATISTICAL BULLETIN Housing prices rose 13.2% in the 2nd quarter of 2022 In the 2nd quarter of 2022, year-on-year: • The Housing Price Index (HPI) increased by 13.2% (+0.3 p.p. than in the previous quarter); • The rise in prices was differentiated, as follows: » 14.7% concerning existing housing; and » 8.4% regarding new dwellings; • The number of dwellings sold (43,607) grew by 4.5%; and • The value of dwellings traded (€8.3 billion) increased by 19.5%.
