2022 Edition 38 Overnight stays in tourist accommodation establishments, by region NUTS II – February 2022 Overnight stays in tourist accommodation establishments, per month More information is available at: Tourism activity, flash estimate – February 2022 31 March 2022 • 36.0% of all tourist accommodation establishments were either closed or did not handle any guests (41.6% in January); • The average stay in tourist accommodation establishments (2.35 nights) increased by 3.3% year-on-year (+1.0% in January), being: » 1.72 nights for residents (-8.9%); » 3.09 nights for non-residents (-30.6%); • All NUTS II regions recorded year-on-year increases in overnight stays.
