MARCH 2022 13 MONTHLY STATISTICAL BULLETIN More information is available at: New housing construction cost index – January 2022 10 de março de 2022 It is estimated that in January 2022, the following year-on-year rates of change concerning construction costs for new housing had been registered: • Construction cost index for new housing (CCINH): 7.2% (7.0% in the previous month); • Cost of materials: 9.1% (8.2% in the previous month); • Labour costs: 4.5% (5.2% in the previous month). Regarding the month-on-month rates of change, the estimated rates for January 2022 were: • CCINH: 1.1% (-1.2% in December); • Price of materials: 2.7% (-0.5% in December); • Labour costs: -1.1% (-2.3% in December).
