MAY 2022 47 Retail trade sales increased by 4.6 In April 2022, the following year-on-year rates of change were registered in the retail trade sector: • Retail trade Turnover Index (RTTI1): 4.6% (12.8% in the previous month); In nominal terms, the index went from a rate of change of 22.2% in March to 14.3% in April; • Employment index: 3.5% (4.3% in March); • Wages and salaries index: 7.5% (7.4% in March); • Hours worked index2: 8.5% (18.6% in March).
