Definition The Consumer Price Index weights reflect the share of expenditure of each level of The Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose in total Household Final Monetary Consumption Expenditure. The expenditure weights are rescaled in order to sum 10000000. The Consumer Price Index is an indicator that measures changes over time in the general level of prices of goods and services deemed to be representative of the consumption structure of population residing in Portugal.
