Concepts
  • WAGE RATE:  Gross amount in cash and/or kind, paid regularly and guaranteed to the worker during the reference period and corresponding to the normal working period. It includes, in addition to the base earnings, regular and guaranteed bonuses and allowances associated with the characteristics of the job (job allowances, shift allowances, time-off allowances, allowances for arduous, dangerous or dirty work, etc.). Bonuses, allowances and benefits linked to the individual characteristics of the worker (seniority, productivity, attendance, merit, etc.) and all other bonuses and benefits (overtime pay, meal allowances, etc.) are excluded.
  • ENTERPRISE:  Legal entity (natural or legal person) that is an organisational unit producing goods or services, which benefits from a certain degree of autonomy in decision-making, especially for the allocation of its current resources. An enterprise carries out one or more activities at one or more locations.
