  • REFERENCE PERIOD:  The length of time for which data are collected, e.g. a specific day, month or year.
  • ADOPTION LEAVE:  Leave granted to adoption applicants of minors less than 15 years of age that prevents their labour activity, except in the case of adoption of a child of the spouse or of the person with whom the adoption applicant lives in conjugality. The leave is granted for a period not greater than 120 or 150 consecutive days, that can be extended by 30 consecutive days in case of sharing of the adoption leave.
