| Definition | LEAVE FOR ABORTION: Grants female workers the right to a leave of absence from work for a period from at least 14 days to 30 days at most in case of miscarriage, as well as in cases of termination of pregnancy performed by a physician, or under their guidance, in an official or recognized health establishment, and with the consent of the pregnant woman. This leave is considered as actual work done, granting the right to an allowance paid by the social security, or a remuneration in the case of civil servants.
