  • COEFICIENTE DE GINI:  Indicador de desigualdade na distribuição do rendimento que visa sintetizar num único valor a assimetria dessa distribuição, assumindo valores entre 0 (quando todos os indivíduos têm igual rendimento) e 100 (quando todo o rendimento se concentra num único indivíduo).
  • REFERENCE PERIOD:  Period to which the information refers and which may be a specific day or a time interval (month, fiscal year, calendar year, among others).
  • GROSS REPORTED INCOME:  Income that corresponds to: 1) the value of the income not exempt, before any specific deduction for categories A (Dependent labor) and H (Pensions); 2) the value of the net income, ie the value of the income after the respective deductions for the other categories
Definition Gini coefficient: Inequality income distribution indicator aiming at transmitting in one sole value the asymmetry of that distribution, with values between 0 (everyone having exactly the same income) and 100 (one person has all the income, while everyone else has zero income).
