The publication presents the main definitive data of the National Health Survey 2014 (INS 2014), held in collaboration with the National Health Institute Doutor Ricardo Jorge (INSA). The results  characterize the resident population aged 15 and over, according to three different health domains: health status, health care and health determinants. The publication also includes a set of tables with data detailed by NUTS 1 and 2, sex and age groups, besides the main methodological and conceptual features used in the survey

The results presented in the publication correspond to estimates of residents broken down by sex, age group, region of residence, education level and activity status.

For each estimate, the population proportions and the coefficients of variation were also calculated, and made available in the annex of the publication. The coefficients of variation allow for the calculation of the confidence intervals as described in the methodological note.
