Statistics Portugal and Statistics Spain are launching jointly  the 9th edition of the The Iberian Peninsula in figures / La Península Ibérica en cifras with data for 2012.
The publication presents official statistical indicators, grouped into 14 themes, allowing comparisons between the two Iberian countries and set the position of each one in the European Union context. In many cases, the statistical information is presented at regional level.

This publication represents a challenge to users, by inviting them to consult the wide range of official statistics freely available at the websites of Statistics Portugal (www.ine.pt) and Statistics Spain (www.ine.es), as well as at Eurostat (epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu), the main source used in this data collection.
