In the so-called Lisbon Strategy, which had as time horizon 2010, was selected a set of Structural Indicators, in order to assess progresses in the strategy implementation. The subsequent definition of a new EU strategy (Europe 2020) determined a gradual phasing out of these indicators, being built just to the year 2010, available on Eurostat website. However, much of the information associated with these indicators will continue to be updated and displayed on Eurostat websites, but outside of the context of the Lisbon Strategy.
