Summary
In 2013, the activities of services provided to enterprises (SPE) employed 311 798 people (-1.2% comparing to 2012) and achieved an amount of EUR 12 423.6 million (-1.0% from previous year).  
Despite the reduction of the amount of services provided to enterprises, GVA increased 1.1%, due to a more accentuated drop in the intermediate consumption value (-4.8%).
Computing and related activities and accounting and consulting activities contributed with 54.1% of the total value of services provided. With the exception of computing and legal activities, which presented positive evolutions (+2.5% and +1.6% than in 2012, respectively), significant reductions in other activities were observed. The value of services in advertising decreased the most (-8.5%).
The clients from extra-EU market strengthened their share, growing from 9.9% in 2012, to 11.0% in 2013. In opposite, the clients from EU decreased slightly their representativeness in 0.5 pp, to 8.2%.
