Summary
In nominal terms, the Industry Turnover Index decreased 4.7% in January (reduction of 6.8% in the previous month). The less intense reduction of the total index was determined by the behaviour of the external market index, which moved from a year-on-year rate of -7.6% in December to -2.0%. The domestic market index decreased 6.6% in January (-6.3% in the previous month).
Also in year-on-year terms, employment, wages and hours worked, adjusted for calendar effects, change rates were  4.0%, -4.7% and -3.7%, respectively.
