The index of production in construction decreased by 16.0% in the quarter ending in April 2012, in year-on-year terms (3 months moving average, working days and seasonally adjusted), down by 3.2 percentage points from the rate observed in March (-12.8%). Employment, and wages and salaries registered year-on-year change rates of -15.2% and  18.2%, respectively.
