Summary
In the third quarter of 2008, exports grew by 21.3% and imports by 23.1%, leading to an increase in the deficit of the trade balance with Third Countries, comparing with the same period in the previous year (July to September 2007).
Within the reference period, compared to the same period in 2007, the highest growth in imports was registered in Fuels and lubricants, and Capital goods and in exports in Transport equipments, in Industrial supplies and Capital goods.
