Note(s):
(1) The data of the previous quarter was revised as a result of the inclusion of information sent lately by some enterprises of the sample survey on hours worked and from the update of information obtained through administrative sources.
(2) With the publication of the results for the 1st quarter of 2020, Statistics Portugal started to include in the LCI calculation, for the labour costs components, information obtained from administrative sources, corresponding to the universe (instead of the sample). The information on hours actually worked continued to be obtained by direct inquiry and for the above mentioned sample and no changes were introduced at this level. This change had impact in the indices released since the 1st quarter of 2019.
