(1) The Code for the Enforcement of Sentences and Deprivation of Liberty Measures, approved by the Law 115/2009 of 12 October, specifies that the prison establishments are to be classified according to the level of security and to the average degree of management complexity. Since 12 January 2013, bearing in mind the provisions set forth in article 2 of the Order 13/2013, of 11 January, it includes a high and a medium degree of management complexity.
